Opportunities for Speakers

Are you an expert on an aspect of writing or publishing? Want to present a workshop or webinar to our members and expanded network?

Speak To Us

Topics must be related to writing fiction, nonfiction, screenplays, stage plays, poetry, lyrics, game storyboards, comic books, grants, proposals, press releases, marketing copy, website content, blogs, or bios. Other topics will be considered, but these are of primary interest. Publishing topics may include audiobook publishing, e-publishing, self-publishing, traditional publishing, book illustrating, typesetting/page design, book cover design, or agents. Sessions may also include training on any of the myriad software tools, services, and resources associated with any form of publishing.

Sessions may be as short as 45 minutes or weeks long. Webinars may not charge registration fees. Workshop fees may range from $5 to $50 per person for sessions longer than one hour. Fees for workshops may be charged to nonmembers, but members must be able to attend at no cost. You may propose greater fees for courses, but those may require a more extensive process beyond the application below. If you propose a full course, we’ll contact you to request any additional information we may need.

Webinars, workshops, and courses will be made available to members and select sessions will be open to the public to attend as well.

To submit a request to speak to us through your own session, simply fill out the form below. Once you submit the form, the next screen will offer you a link through which you may upload any accompanying documents or materials to support your program proposal in one zipped/compressed file. Be sure to look for the link as soon as you hit submit. Do not close the tab or click off without submitting your packet.

Benefits

In addition to admission fees for nonmembers, we offer our speakers exposure to our network of over 32,000 and extended audience of 5,100 unique visitors per month, plus priority consideration for speaking engagements at our conferences and retreats.
