What is your most memorable BWRC moment?
When I was surprised with the 2000 Gold Pen “Innovative Writer” Award for my award-winning short story book, “Sister Betty! God’s Calling You!”

continued?
Yes, I’ve made and maintained many contacts.
Did you do any writing while attending the conference?
Yes, I made sure to bring my laptop.
Has the BWRC helped you to accomplish any writing goals?
Two years after attending my first BWRC conference I signed a major publishing deal with Kensington/Dafina Books. I’ve been with Kensington/Dafina since that time.

Yes, I plan to attend. Growth and networking are two of the conferences’ greatest strengths.
